My name is Jennifer and I am a military spouse/stay at home mom who recently moved to a new state about 2,000 miles away from our last home.

Books are my escape and my relaxation.  I love reading pretty much anything I can get my hands on and I write constantly but have yet to put it all together in a book.  My hope is to one day write my own book but, until then, I am more than happy to read all of the books I can find.  If you have worked with me or been stationed with me, you know that I enjoy reading and sharing my “great reads” with anyone who will listen.

This blog serves to quench that need to share book recommendations and to generate discussion with my friends and family who also love to read.  Just like a traditional book club, we will share our thoughts, ideas and opinions about the books we enjoyed and some that we didn’t.

Mostly, this is a great way for me to share with you what I am reading and start the discussions.  I will provide my list of what I am currently reading, as well as what I have on my nightstand waiting in the wings to be read.
